How to test water quality? What exactly is in your water? How can you get the best water filtration system for your borehole or other water source? You need to have your water tested by a laboratory.
To find out the exact composition of your water we will organize an accredited water test. We conduct and analyze water tests to ensure that the correct water filtration system is designed and assembled. The quote for our water filtration systems is based on the water test results as each water source has a different water profile, different water quality. A water test determines the exact chemical requirements for the purification system, safeguarding your investment. Follow the steps below to get started or contact us directly.
Our water tests include the accredited test, our expert analysis of the results, filtration recommendations and associated quote. Avoid the hassle and get it done in one go!
We are based in the Helderberg (click here for address), and we accept water samples via mail or in person. Please read below for instructions on how to take a water sample, the different water testing options and pricing.
Get it done
We send all our water samples to Bemlab for testing; a SANAS accredited laboratory.
Step 1 - Prepare your water sample
See our water sampling guide to ensure you correctly sample the water to be filtered. REMEMBER to add your contact details and sample description to the bottle.
Step 2 - Send your water sample
Send us your water sample so that we can inspect it and recommend the required water test. Send your sample directly to our offices - click here for address.
Basic water test - R830.00 ex VAT
A basic water test includes the main chemical elements and is suited for most borehole and wellpoint applications.
A basic water test includes the following chemical parameters:
Electrical conductivity (EC), pH, Na, Ca, Mg, K, Fe (total and dissolved), Cl, SO4, CO3, HCO3, B, NH4, NO3, Cu, Zn, Mn (total and dissolved), P, Total Dissolved Salts (TDS), F
Advanced water test - R1800.00 ex VAT
An advanced water includes the basic chemical elements as well as detailed elements we have internally selected for complex filtration systems. This test is suited for reverse osmosis systems, effluent water or complex borehole water sources.
An advanced water test includes the following chemical parameters:
Electrical conductivity (EC), pH, Na, Ca, Mg, K, Fe (total and dissolved), Cl, SO4, CO3, HCO3, B, NH4, NO3, Cu, Zn, Mn (total and dissolved), P, Total Dissolved Salts (TDS), F, Total Organic Carbon (TOC), colour, filtered colour, total silica, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD)
Step 3 - Review your analysis and filtration quote
We will interpret and analyse your water test results and send you the water test along with our expert recommendations and quotes.
Please note that we cannot conduct microbiological tests, as these tests are subject to strict sampling conditions.
