Water Treatment Chemicals range in application and are used widely for treatment. Each chemical has a different role and it is important to understand each. Please contact us if we do not list your needed item or if you require assistance with selection and dosing rates. 

What chemicals are used for water treatment

We supply a range of chemicals:

  • Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Lye) is used for lifting the pH

  • Sodium Hypochlorite (chlorine) is used as an oxidizing agent 

  • Sulphuric acid is used for decreasing the pH

  • Antiscalant is used for crystallization control on membranes

  • Polyphosphate is used for scale or corrosion prevention

  • Non-oxidizing biocide (DBNPA) for membrane biofouling
